Tegan & Paul

Your hosts Tegan Welsch-Rainek and Paul Vigil

We’ve spent over 15 years in hospitality and own and manage the 1911 Steam Train Hotel here in Antonito. Whether it’s at the hotel or through our rental properties, our goal has always been the same, provide a clean, comfortable place to stay and make the experience simple and easy for our guests.

Paul was born and raised in Antonito and knows the San Luis Valley inside and out, from fishing spots to the best ways to experience the area throughout the seasons. I stay active in the community, write for the Crestone Eagle, and stay involved with local organizations.

Outside of work, we spend most of our time outdoors, hiking, off-roading, and exploring the valley with our dogs. We also manage residential and commercial properties and have owned several businesses over the years.

Stucco Casa is a reflection of how we approach hosting: practical, comfortable, and easy to settle into from the moment you arrive.

Here if You Need Anything

We live just a few blocks away and are available if you need anything during your stay. Whether it’s a quick question, help with the house, or a local recommendation, we’re close by.

At the same time, we respect your space and keep things hands-off so you can relax and enjoy your stay without interruption.
